These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clawed, an AI-powered app published by Evey Vendetta ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using Clawed, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Clawed. If you are under 16 and located in the European Economic Area, you may need parental consent. By using Clawed, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement.
Clawed uses AI (Google Vertex AI / Gemini) to analyse photos of cats and generate humorous, personality-based commentary — from the cat's perspective, directed at the human and their environment. The cat is never the subject of criticism. The AI requires a real cat to be present in the submitted photo to function; no cat means no verdict.
Clawed is entertainment software. Any output is generated by AI and is not advice, opinion, or statement of fact. AI-generated content may be unexpected, filtered, or unavailable due to content safety systems, and no specific output is guaranteed.
Clawed uses a virtual currency called Kibble to unlock roasts. Kibble can be earned by watching rewarded ads or purchased via in-app purchase through Google Play.
All purchases — including one-time Kibble packs and subscriptions — are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service and refund policy. We do not process payments directly.

We may change subscription pricing with advance notice via Google Play. Continued subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Where required by applicable law — including EU and UK consumer protection regulations — your statutory rights regarding refunds are not affected by these Terms. For purchase or subscription disputes, contact Google Play support in the first instance. For Kibble balance issues arising from a technical fault on our side, contact us at support@getclawed.app.
Clawed shows ads served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners (including Unity Ads). You may earn Kibble by choosing to watch rewarded ads. Ad content is controlled by the ad network, not by us. Where required by law, we will request your consent before serving personalised ads.
When you submit a photo to Clawed, you confirm that: (a) you own the photo or have the rights to submit it; (b) it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or personality rights; and (c) you have obtained consent from any identifiable person depicted. Photos are processed to generate a roast and are not stored on our servers after the roast is complete.
If you share a roast card publicly — including by tagging #getclawed on social media or using the in-app share function — you grant Evey Vendetta a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and promote that content for marketing and promotional purposes. You retain ownership of any original photos you submitted. This licence ends if you request removal via legal@getclawed.app.

We reserve the right to block or terminate access for any user who violates these rules, without notice or refund. You acknowledge that violations of Sections 7 or 8 may cause irreparable harm to Evey Vendetta for which monetary damages would be an inadequate remedy. We may accordingly seek injunctive or other equitable relief in addition to any other remedies available at law, without being required to post a bond or prove actual damages.
Clawed, its name, logo, app design, the Clowder persona system, and all related content are owned by Evey Vendetta and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. AI-generated roast text is produced on your behalf and you may share it personally and non-commercially, subject to the licence in Section 6. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Clawed intellectual property to you. Any unauthorised use of Clawed's intellectual property may result in civil or criminal liability.
Clawed depends on third-party services to function, including Google Vertex AI (Gemini), Firebase, Google Play, Google AdMob, and Unity Ads (collectively, "Third-Party Services"). We are not responsible for:
If a Third-Party Service becomes unavailable, we will endeavour to restore functionality but cannot guarantee continuity. Any Kibble spent on a failed roast due to a Third-Party Service outage will be refunded in accordance with Section 3.
Clawed is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evey Vendetta expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that: (a) Clawed will operate without interruption or error; (b) any AI-generated output will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose; (c) Clawed will be available in all geographic regions; or (d) defects will be corrected.
AI-generated content is inherently unpredictable. Verdicts may be absurd, repetitive, or inconsistent. That is part of the experience. We accept no liability for any offence taken at AI-generated output.
We are not responsible for how you use or share roast results. Any consequences arising from sharing AI-generated content are solely your responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evey Vendetta's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Clawed is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD — whichever is greater. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Evey Vendetta and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of Clawed; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or personality rights; or (d) any content you submit or share through or in connection with Clawed.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of the defence of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, at your expense. You agree to cooperate with our defence of any such claim.
We may update, modify, or discontinue Clawed or any part of it at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Clawed after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you have a concern, please contact us first at legal@getclawed.app — we will do our best to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, nothing in these Terms prevents you from pursuing your statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Evey Vendetta regarding Clawed and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms on any occasion is not a waiver of that right or provision in the future.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
